My name is Derek Orr and I am a math PhD student at the University of Pittsburgh. My research is in mathematical neuroscience but, on the side, I indulge in number theory.
I am also an amateur author; I have written four books while I was in high school and college (10th, 11th, 12th, and freshman year of college). They are online with both paperback copies and FREE PDFs that you are more than welcome to read (you can find them at http://www.lulu.com/shop/search.ep?type=&keyWords=derek+orr&x=-967&y=-8&sitesearch=lulu.com&q=).
I'm also an author in the OEIS! My first 100 sequences were published between August 2013 and February 2014 and I'm still going! I have over 500 of my own sequences and I've contributed to over 1000 entries. Here are my top ten favorite sequences (of my own) in no particular order:
www.oeis.org/A236056 (Similar: A236764, A236766)
www.oeis.org/A236247 (Similar: A236415, A236416, A248031)
www.oeis.org/A248981 (Similar: A248982, A248983, A249264, A249265, A249769, A245624)
Some of these need extending! Any help would be appreciated!
Number theory encompasses most of my free time (see more of this website or my twitter accounts and you'll know what I mean).
Enjoy the site!
(Most facts are my own but I also use Wikipedia, OEIS, and Prime Curios!)
